DesRoches elected to the National Academy of Engineering
Reginald DesRoches has been selected as a 2020 inductee to the National Academy of Engineering (NAE). The election citation indicated that his selection was for “research and design of resilient infrastructure systems to mitigate damage from natural disasters and other extreme conditions.” Rice University now has a total of 10 current members, as well as three emeritus members, in the NAE.
