DesRoches awarded the Outstanding Paper Award (The Masonry Society)
A paper by Reginald DesRoches and former PhD student Laura Redmond, now faculty at Clemson University, was awarded the Outstanding Paper Award by the Masonry Society. The paper entitled Shear and Tensile Strength Equations for Analysis of Grouted Masonry was published in Vol. 34, No. 1 of TMS Journal. Only a small fraction of papers submitted to TMS Journal earn this recognition.
The award was presented on Tuesday, June 18 at the 13th North American Masonry Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah.
